This OPTIMA VM 3S Garbolino rod series is our entry-level model for handled minnow fishing, this technique remaining the top method for catching big trout. With 2 models in 3 sections of 2.70m and 3.00m that can handle rigs up to 25 g, you will be able to explore all types of waterways. The 3-section construction with a ring on the butt allows for easy folding while keeping the reel mounted. We have favored a rather pronounced tip action, which ensures optimal animation, flawless bite detection, effective hooking, but also allows good control of the hooked fish by limiting the risk of losing it.
The guides are compatible with all types of lines, monofilament or braided. The Portuguese cork handle, quite compact, offers a secure and effective grip and thanks to the adjustable Garbolino reel seat, you can position your reel exactly where you want it. Paired with a front drag reel in sizes 2000 to 3000, you can easily use all types of rigs: godille, bohemian, or others.
