Optima FI 4m50 Garbolino Adjustable Tele Toc Rod with Internal Line
The OPTIMA FI Garbolino is our first model of internal line rod, available in 2 lengths: 3.80m fixed type and 4.50m with an adjustable telescopic butt. Both variants are equipped with 28 Garbolino spacers, these spacers made of aluminum have a micro ceramic center that ensures perfect centering of the line and reduces friction with it. The spacers are hand-assembled in our workshop to ensure perfect positioning and fitting, which is very important for smooth and precise casting even with little weight.
Both rod sizes are equipped with cork handles and our adjustable tubular reel seat, which allows you to best position the reel on the handle. The line entry is located at the bottom of the 2nd section, for two reasons: it makes it easier to pass the threading tool and limits to 2 the number of sections through which the line must pass, making it faster in case of breakage when you need to rethread the line through the entire rod.
Regarding threading the line, it is essential to use the threading tool provided with each rod, as the spacers we install in the tip are smaller than those previously used by other rod makers.
