Lexica R 4m80 Garbolino adjustable toc rod
With the LEXICA R rod, Garbolino offers a range of adjustable telescopic rods from 4.80m to 6.60m. The 4.80m and 5.70m versions each have 2 adjustable rings and the 6.60m, 3 rings. The compact size close to 1.50m makes these rods more suitable for use on fairly open rivers, where you are looking for great fishing comfort rather than high maneuverability.
The reel is mounted on the butt via a plate reel seat that has small soft plastic protectors to prevent damage to the reel foot, but also to ensure effective tightening, eliminating all play between the different parts. This type of attachment also allows for a fairly slim butt profile, which is more pleasant when you are used to holding both the rod and the reel between your fingers at the same time. This slimness of the butt is achieved by using an internal butt cap, which ensures good protection of the bottom of the butt while stopping the sections inside.
The rings with ceramic inserts of this LEXICA R series ensure smooth line flow and hold, they are strong and wear-resistant.
