One of the unique features of this lure is to offer for the first time on the market a very pronounced paint as well as a "3-D" eye signal. Some paint or glitter masks are applied inside the lure and others on the outside. The longevity of the color is obviously increased and the visual effect is truly distinctive.
Born from the partnership between American Joe Peterson (TrueGlide) and CWC, the GUPPIES offer an incomparable swim. Depending on the tail used (screw system) they can be used for simple casting/retrieving (shad tail) or jerks with pauses (curly tail). The type of tail used changes the dynamics of the lure, offering more possibilities. The GUPPIE JR differs in its swim from the GUPPIE by a faster frequency during animation.
Another feature regarding the GUPPIE: It is the only Jerkbait or Tailbait that can go down to 7 meters and keep its swimming depth throughout the animation.
The convex profile of these two lures (or should I say four...) exposes the hook and ensures better penetration during the strike.
During pauses, the GUPPIES sink horizontally with a side-to-side rocking effect.
