As tough as a tank, with the performance of a sports car, the 200/201 is the benchmark reel for overall performance and offers standard, powerful, and high-speed retrieve options.
There are many variants in the Curado family and the Curado 200/201 size is the most extensive, covering a wide range of lure styles and sizes. Equipped with some of Shimano's best technologies, and designed with a low-profile design that fits perfectly to the rod, you will immediately feel comfortable with your Curado 200/201. They cast well, are durable and smooth, and fight like demons when the pressure is on.
All Curado 200/201 models feature a robust HAGANE aluminum body, in matte black color. But don't be fooled by its understated appearance (which suits any rod), inside hides a powerful gear up to the toughest challenge. All models feature X-SHIP technology and Micromodule gearing to enhance rotation smoothness. The inclusion of a powerful Cross Carbon Drag speaks volumes about the power, which is particularly evident on the high-torque Power Gear (PG) model. As for casting, an S3D spool reducing vibrations is controlled by the SVS Infinity braking system, which is simple to adjust and easy to use.
