John Weight Illex lead clip
The "John Weight" lead sinker is a quick little trick to rapidly modify the swimming depth of a lure such as a minnow, jerkbait, big bait, swimbait, or squid jig.
With its "fragmentation grenade" shape, the design of its checkered shell allows the stainless steel rod to be held in place, thus minimizing the risk of losing your sinker during casting, retrieving, or when fighting a fish.
